Sigma Alpha Mu provides its undergraduate members the opportunity to make lifelong friendships, develop leadership skills and the support for a favorable atmosphere of academic and social accomplishment. Involvement in Sigma Alpha Mu will allow members to gain self-confidence, develop interpersonal skills, and provided a home away from home. The Fraternity endeavors to complement the efforts of higher education and the campus community.

Sigma Alpha Mu currently has nearly 70 chapters and 3000 undergraduate members supported by a rich tradition of over 57,000 members. As we approach Sigma Alpha Mu's 100th anniversary in 2009, it is the duty and obligation of each member to protect and enhance the outstanding history and accomplishments of Sigma Alpha Mu.
