Fall Recruitment Efforts Up 11%

As of October 31, 2001, Sigma Alpha Mu has affiliated 508 candidates, this compares to 454 at the same time last year. The 54-man increase is an improvement of 11%. Top recruiting chapters are:

Wisconsin - 37
Texas - 36
Toledo - 25
Illinois - 25
Penn State - 21

In addition to the 508 men affiliated by chapters, our colonies at Northeastern, Johnson & Wales, Oklahoma and Boston University have pledged another 45 men, bringing our total to 553.

Additional reports will be published as deferred recruitment schools take primary classes. Top recruiting chapters will receive special recognition at the end of the academic year.
