Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation Awards $95,000 in Scholarships

The Sigma Alpah Mu Foundation has selected 90 students to receive scholarships for this year totaling $95,000. Scholarships are awarded to worthy and needy college students throughout the United States and Canada. The foundation, founded in 1944 by Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, continues to increase student grants, all of which are permanently endowed. In the last five years, the foundation has made $422,000 in scholarship grants.

Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity was founded at the College of the City of New York as a Fraternity of Jewish men. Today, the Fraternity operates on sixty-four campuses in the United States and Canada.
