Applications For Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation Scholarships Hits All-Time High

Full Story:

Over one hundred seventy-five students have applied for the 2001 Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation scholarships. The scholarship selection committee will begin reviewing applicants this month and decisions will be announced by April. This year the Foundation will award $93,000 to needy and worthy students, more than most fraternity foundations. Each scholarship is made possible by endowments made by alumni and friends of the Fraternity. The number of scholarships available increases each year as new gifts are made and long-term endowments mature. In addition to the current awards, there are an additional 120 scholarships in the process of being endowed.
